Genocide and Its Roots

(Script of documentary series)

The legal reference instead of a preface:
“In international practice genocide is defined as any actions committed by someone with intent to destroy national, ethnic, race or religious group or create unbearable conditions of life for the whole group or its part”.
Historic roots of genocide, in other words, Russian state’s aversion of independent Crimea goes back to the times of the collapse of the former mighty Golden Horde that included both Crimea and Russian principalities with Moscow Principality at the head that by the beginning of the 16th century became so mighty and independent that in their might could compete with parent state - Saray.
Crimea was the first who declared ones claims on separatism and in 1443 proclaimed the foundation of the state known as Crimean Khanate that was independent from Golden Horde. However, Saray refused to recognize the independence of Crimea and from time to time took punitive expeditions trying to restore the former rule of Saray on the territory of Crimean Khanate. The powers of the confronting parties were so equal that neither of the parties could win the other for many years and even decades. Finally, the second Khan of Crimean separatists state Mengli Geray suggested Moscow governor, Prince Ivan the Third to finish once and for all with Golden Horde Empire by joint efforts and at the same time to free a whole range of the smaller provinces of Tataria that were also dependent on parent state.
However, Ivan the Third didn’t accept the proposal. Moscow, that by the 15th century became the most powerful of all Russian principalities, had no plans for destroying the empire. By that time Moscow princes started making their own plans that pursued far-reaching aims of seizing the entire empire, and moving the capital from Saray to Moscow in the future.
Already at the times of the last Golden Horde Khan Murtaza Ivan the Third though timidly but nevertheless dared proclaiming himself tsar and using diplomatic means managed to make Kazan Khanate the vassal of Moscow for a certain period of time. However, he understood that on the territory of Golden Horde only tsarevitch, in other words the offspring of Chingiz Khan could call himself so. He wasn’t the one. Then, with this goal in mind he decided becoming related with Gingizids twice marrying his son Vasily the Third to Tatar-Chingizids: first to Solomniya Saburova who never could give birth to an heir, then, having the permission of Orthodox Synod, to Elena Glinskaya who finally gave the great prince Vasily the son – tsarevitch Ivan the Fourth. With this act Moscow governors equalized their genetic rights with all other provinces of the Great Tatariya that could be governed only by Chingizids.
Meanwhile Mengli Geray invented the new multistep plan in order to finish finally with Golden Horde with Turks' assistance. In continuous battle he first decoyed Murtaza's army into an ambush then utterly defeated it. He literally razed to the ground the capital of the empire - Saray. This outstanding event took place in 1502. Since that time Golden Horde Empire dissolved into several independent states and self-governing territories. The largest of them were Crimean Khanate, Kazan Khanate, Astrakhan Khanate, Nogay Horde, Siberian Khanate, Khasim Khanate, Russian principalities leaded by Moscow Principality that since Ivan the Fourth started referring to as kingdom being the synonym of Khanate. Ivan the Terrible didn't miss a chance to stress his high Chingizid origin justifying thus his ambitious plans. These plans spread as far as on restoration of the former empire, however, with the capital in Moscow and Christian - Orthodox religion instead of Islam.
It was Ivan the Terrible who started restoring the empire defeated by Mengli Geray. Kazan, Astrakhan and Siberian Khanates were defeated and annexed by Moscow already in his rule and Khasim Khanate turned into a poppet khanate being nominally the khanate with Islam religion. Having claims on Golden Horde crown Ivan the Terrible gather round his throne the noble Tatar lords. He also married his sons to Tatar princesses. When he sank Novgorod and Pskov in their residents’ blood he left to monastery atoning for his sins by prayer in solitude, enthroning Khasim tsarevitch Semen Bekbulatovich instead of himself for the whole two years. Even Ivan the Terrible’s successors were pureblooded baptized Tatars belonging to Godunov family – Boris Fedorovich and Fedor Borisovich who governed the kingdom up to the "Time of Trouble”.
Thus, Golden Horde Empire in times of Ivan the Terrible was almost entirely restored. Only Crimea remained independent state. Ivan the Terrible justified all these territorial winnings by the desire to restore the former mighty empire. He dreamed of moving its boundaries far west. Assuming the title of Tsar, in other words, the title of an heir of Golden Horde Empire he even preserved the State Emblem of Golden Horde - double-headed eagle that was later on at Romanovs’ time crowned with three columns – Kazan, Astrakhan and Siberian kingdoms.
Well, after such impressive victories of Moscow in the matter of restoration of the empire Ivan the Terrible had just one task: to conquer Crimean province of Golden Horde - the richest one, because it was situated on the way of the Great Silk Road. For eternally poor Moscow Russia that stood aside the trading ways Crimea became a tasty morsel with conquest of which Moscow intended breaking out to the spaciousness of the richest Mediterranean.
However, the next Crimean Khan Devlet Geray ruined the planed military campaign against Crimea. Discovering Moscow Tsar’s intentions Khan didn’t give him time for preparation of such grand campaign and in 1555 suddenly attacked Russia. In bloody battle Moscow bore large human losses and the campaign against Crimea was postponed. Then understanding that he couldn’t overcome Crimean Khan alone Ivan the Fourth sent the Great Embassy to Lithuania that first even persuaded Lithuanians and Poles to take the joint “crusade” against Crimea. However, Devlet Geray reacted on this diabolical scheme of incessant aggressor with much farseeing and sent an alternative embassy to Lithuania that made Lithuanians and Poles change their minds to take such rash act, and explaining them that treacherous Russians after they conquer Crimea will make Tatars first adopt Orthodoxy, then set them upon Catholic Poland and Lithuania. In this case the Great Lithuania will not have somebody to ask for help in fighting against their eternal enemies – Orthodox Moskals who always aimed at seizing Lithuanian lands which spread before the creation of Crimean Khanate from Baltic Sea to the Black Sea. Thus, Lithuania will gain much from existence of independent Crimea that moreover characterized by religious tolerance in all respects, said the ambassadors.
The arguments of Crimean ambassadors turned out to be so sobering instructive and persuasive that the Great Lithuania never united with Moscow against Crimea, but on the contrary tried keeping allied relations with Crimean Khanate with an aim to preserve its own independence against the constant aggression of eastern neighbor.
Meanwhile, in 1571 Devlet Geray took new Cavalry attack against Russian towns and at the same time burned Moscow in order to disincline Ivan the Terrible for making new attacks against Crimea with assistance of the conquered Tatars of Povolzh'e and Khasimeans. With great loot in the form of tens thousands of yasyrs in other words captives, he returned to Crimea. To cap the misery, in accordance with humiliating treaty Moscow was obliged to pay tribute to Crimea that it had been paying obediently up to Peter’s time.
The ambitious Moskals still can’t forgive Crimean Tatars this very humiliating defeat which in fact buried their dream of the Third Rome.
As far as Crimea concerned it never had territorial claims to Moscow, because northern Russian territories didn’t interest and fascinate Crimeans. They were quite satisfied with location of Crimea that was right on the way of the Great Silk Road. You see, this location was the main source of Crimean state’s richness.
On the other hand Moscow for more than 200 years after this didn’t lost hope when any occasion offers to conquer Crimea – this rich paradise on the Earth, so cherished it was for poor and that is why angry and aggressive Russia. Knowing this Crimean Khans watch closely the development of the northern neighbor and from time to time made preventive attacks with the help of Crimean Tatar cavalry in order to protect themselves, thus chilling the expansionist heat of Moskals (Russians) for many years ahead.
Tatars of Crimea didn’t want submitting to the country with slavery. Crimea didn’t face such orders since the times of the rule of Roman Empire on the peninsular. The nation that was formed for hundreds and thousands of years in the mountains where they escaped in order to preserve their freedom naturally couldn’t stand slavery. Crimean Tatars neither could imagine themselves the slaves, no they wanted this. They preferred death in a battle to slavery existence. Even yasyrs which they took and brought to Crimea from military campaigns according to the law of Crimean Khanate obtained freedom after the lapse of seven years unless they were not sold or bought out by relatives. Moreover, if yasyr adopted Islam before this term he at once became citizen enjoying full rights, because a Muslim couldn’t be a slave in Crimea.
In this respect some Crimean yasyrs knowing the advantage of free and liberated live already didn’t want getting back home. For example, when ataman (Cossack chieftain) Sirko freed seven thousands yasyrs during the campaign of 1675 three thousands of them refused getting back to Russia.
However, only those people who were naturally gifted with the spirit of enterprise dared taking such decisions. However, the majority of Russian serfs for all that found this free life burdensome. You see, they used to live when the Lord thinks for them and bares responsibility for their actions and they just compliantly and obediently execute his orders. So, getting used to thoughtless and irresponsible existence, it is hard to enjoy the life that requires an everyday labor and responsibility for ones own actions and deeds. That is why mentality of many Russian serfs longed for the authoritarian system of existence which didn’t require any mental efforts concerning the future existence. The lord thought for them. He took responsibility for them as well. A serf just light-heartedly gave his destiny to his hands, involuntarily, of coarse, loosing freedom.
We can not say the same about the indigenous Crimean Tatars who were masters of their own fate and entrusted it to nobody, in other words, they were free and independent in their behavior. Thus, freedom and authoritarianism are incompatible things. That is why Russians and Crimean Tatars already at those times differed greatly from each other, both mentally and on their way of life.
There is an opinion among the scientists that in due time Russian men voluntary preferred slavery and serfdom giving oneself to the authoritarian will of their lord. “The people with amazing patience” chose slavery themselves as the social way of their life. With time people merged with authoritarianism to such extent that still do not want any other form of existence. They feel comfortable with it, because it originates from the natural initial authoritarian way of life and thinking and presupposes obedience, weak will and passivity. That is why the hereditary and genetic surf, in other words slave, takes violence over himself with obedience as necessity for establishment of due order, because he, understanding the need in this order, can’t establish it himself: he lacks willpower to overcome his passive nature. When in 1861 Alexander the Second formally cancelled slavery Russian peasant perceived this innovation as betrayal of his former lord who left the defenseless serfs to the mercy of fate, depriving them of his constant care. You see, a serf, like a child was not used to independent life. Moreover, he didn’t want this. It is very likely that the reason of the revolution of 1917 was not the peasants’ desire of freedom, but this very resentment. Freedom was a burden on Russian peasant. That is why he longed for the return of the authoritarianism. Finally he got it as the result of the October revolution.
However, let’s return to the times of Russian slavery.
Since the 18th century Emperor Peter the First sized the throne, by the way he was half Tatar – half Prussian, Russia made a whole range of reforms, among them the special emphasis should be given to military reform. Instead of half-professional Streltsy troops Peter introduced recruit army. However, unlike European recruit Russian recruit was a slave from predial serfs. And he was taken to the army for life service without his consent. Thus, the solder – slave thereby was doomed by a fate to death in fight. Such soldier was tortured by an everyday exhausting drilling and discipline of the rod living in the barracks went to war willingly. The perspective to overstep the limits in conquered enemy town for three days was a stimulus for him in the war time. Thus, the soldier in Russian – Peter army played the role of cannon fodder reinforced by means of recruitment as required. Only in 1793 the life service was replaceâ by 25 year service. However, even after military service the solder didn’t obtain freedom, he remained a slave for the rest of his natural life living out his days in “Matrosskaya Tishina” or other similar facilities. Right since Peter’s reforms the slavery orders were implanted in Russian army which didn’t regard a solder for a human being. Some of them preserved up to the presence.
Meanwhile, the noblemen-officers served only until they reached the age of 45. However, the noblemen in Russia lived according to other laws, always being master-slaveholders. That is why they supported state authoritarianism finding Slavs as obedient slaves convenient for the established system. Thus, both of the parties – slaves and slaveholders - were interested in the slaveholding system established on Russian spaces by Peter’s time. At this the Slavs were prohibited from joining the noble society. Russian Slave was always in the position of a slave.
Peter’s army of slaves turned out to be more efficient than the Streltska one. Nevertheless, Peter the First couldn’t conquer Crimea, though he tried to do it more than once. However, every time these attempts failed. Only Catherine the Second could make true the centuries-old dreams of Russian kings.
After Russia conquered Crimea and eliminated Crimean Khanate in 1783 Russia started introducing changes on the newly conquered territory in accordance with the orders that dominated in Russia. First of all this manifested in that the population was deprived of land that fed it. People left without the means of existence. The history repeated again when the next conquerors of Crimea started ousting citizens from the conquered territory. Russian conquerors didn’t differ at all, for example, from American colonists who at the same time ousted Indians from their own land. The exception was made only for Urums, in other words Turkic-speaking Orthodox Christians of Crimea. You see, the religious tolerance was legitimized in Crimean Khanate from the very first days of existence of this state. That is why in 1778 Catherine the Second had to exile all Urums from Crimea allotting them land for settlement in neighboring trans-Azov region. Thus, Orthodox Christians of Crimea - Urums escaped repressions and genocide that later fell upon the rest of Crimean population.
Urums who were taken off Crimea numbering 31 thousand people created settlements in trans-Azov region giving them the same names from where they were taken – Mariupol, Yalta, Gurzuf, Sartana, Cherdakly, Kara-Koba, Chermalyk, etc. However, in 1944 almost all these settlements were given new names such as Primosrkoes, Novoselovkas and others senseless names.
However, Crimean Tatars, in other words Muslims, were predetermined the fate of landless, deprived of their rights and persecuted people. In other words they became social outcasts on their native land, because Russian slaveholders didn’t need free people, who in addition belonged to alien religion. Crimean Tatars responded with general escape from Crimea to the request to adopt Orthodoxy and to call after that Russians. They didn’t want turning into Russian serfs, actual slaves. In fact they couldn’t become weak-willed slaves because of their mentality that they developed for almost two thousands years of their way of life. Finally, new conquerors of Crimea understood that. That is why they decided to squeeze out Crimean Tatars, in other words Muslims, from Crimea creating them unbearable life conditions. At this the murder of a Muslim became a common event and wasn’t punished in any way. This policy of the invaders resulted in escape of Muslims from their native land. The refugees first of all were Nogays of steppe regions who emigrated in mass to Turkic caliphate. Today Crimean Tatar colonies existing in Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey and other countries not only Eurasian continent, but America number tens and hundreds of thousands of people.
The history knows several waves of mass emigration of indigenous people of Crimea after its conquest by Russia. However, the most significant ones were “exoduses” after the destruction of Crimean state at the end of the eighteenth century and after the Crimean War of 1853-56. In general the 150-year rule of tsarist Russia in Crimea resulted in decrease of three million population of Crimean Khanate, that consisted of 98 per cent of Crimean Tatar by the moment of its conquest, up to 100 000 people by the beginning of the 20th century. 330 of 784 significantly depopulated Crimean settlements became completely deserted.
Maksimilian Voloshin - Russian poet, translator and painter, born in 1878 and lived in Crimea for many years described the Russian presence in the occupied territory with the following words: “The whole this Mahomet paradise was completely destructed. Instead of splendid towns of “Thousand and One Night” Russians built few wretched towns and gave them pseudo classic names – Sevastopol, Simferopol, Eupatoria”.
Tsarism really came up to the point of absurdity in its maniac yearning for getting rid of Muslim population of Crimea. You know, the authorities turned the Garden of Eden on Earth into a desert. The indigenous population of any territory is the part of its landscape which contribute to the favorable development of this landscape, because people, living in the surrounding of this nature generation after the generation, gradually getting adapted to it and became joined to it, maintaining the ecological harmony in coexistence.
However, Russian invaders didn’t understand all these refinements when populating empty lands of Crimea with Russian peasants who never knew neither the lack of water nor other peculiarities of Crimean nature, because they lived in absolutely different landscape and climatic conditions. Though, with time the authorities understood this and started inviting to Crimea the immigrants from the neighbor states. However, the obligatory condition – to be Orthodox – was given the paramount importance. That is why the first Crimean immigrants in Catherine’s time were Greeks and Bulgarians. Only in the 19th century they were added with Germans and Armenians. Though, not being Orthodox, they were Christians at least. You see, the policy of Christianization of Crimea provided obligatory ousting of its Muslim population proclaimed by Russian tsarism formally didn’t prohibit the rest Christians colonizing the empty Crimean lands and they took that chance.
The new colonists, supported by the authorities, treated the remained Crimean Tatars like the real colonizers, constantly oppressing and humiliating them. They learned well the mood and desire of Russian authorities who wanted to ouster Muslims from Crimea and were zealous to please the authorities, becoming the direct bearers of xenophobia. At this due to their ignorance the new colonists were unaware of the fact that so called Crimean Tatars whom they tried to oppress and humiliate in every possible way, in fact were the same, for example, ethnic Greeks who arrived to Crimea thousand years earlier than them; the same Bulgarians, who in the past were called “Black Bulgarians”; the same Germans who in the past were referred to as Goths or Ostrogoths; finally, the same Armenians who found the second mother land in Crimea after they escaped from Armenia in the 11th century, because Crimeans gave them a hearty welcome and who even obtained complete religious freedom in Crimean Khanate period. However, with the lapse of time all they finally turned to Islam and started referring to as Tatars. However, all this happened on a voluntary basis.
However, these latter-day colonists didn’t get away with humiliation of the indigenous people. Though, the punishment came only in Soviet time when Stalin dealt shortly with them throwing them out from Crimea in 1944 for extinction in the wake of Crimean Tatars, leaving there only obedient Slavs.
Stalin didn’t like Crimean Tatars since 1917…
When the February Bourgeois Revolution took place in Russia finishing off with tsarism Crimean Tatars took it with admiration. And it was a natural reaction of an oppressed people who for one hundred and a half years subjected to the severest genocide. Compatriots from all over the world started coming to help Crimean Tatars living in Crimea. Crimea literally boiled in a kettle of political heat. Political parties and other public organizations were created on the wave of revolutionary rise. Conventions, congresses, conferences were held. Finally, Crimea was proclaimed an independent state with the government headed by the General Matsay Sulkevich - Crimean Tatar of Polish origin. The Government was made up of Crimean Tatars and representatives of other nationalities. Among the decisions adopted by this government was Decision on re-emigration of hundred thousands of Crimean Tatars who lived in Turkey. As far as the October revolution in Petrograd, called by Bolsheviks as Socialistic Revolution, concerned Crimeans didn’t support it. Initially there wasn’t any Bolshevik among Crimean Tatars at all. But on the other hand, there were so many sailor-Bolsheviks in the navy that they overthrew the authorities elected by Crimean population and broke up the government and executed the leaders.
However, the white movement that came to Crimea in a few months after the sailors’ revolt suppressed Bolsheviks’ revolt and proclaimed the slogan of restoration of tsarism. Crimean Tatars didn’t want that in no way. That is why involved in civil war Crimean supporters of national state encircled by enemies: from one side – the Whites, on the other side – the Reds. Bandit detached forces of anarchist-Makhnovets, so called the Greens also didn’t enjoy sympathy of Crimean Tatars.
Nevertheless, Crimean Tatars involuntarily took part in this civil massacre usually fighting against the Whites. At this period the communists started appearing among Crimean Tatars. Of course Crimean Tatars were against tsarism the Bolsheviks fought against. However, even Bolsheviks didn’t arouse much sympathy of Crimean Tatars. That is why after the Reds finished with the Whites in bloody four-year-long civil war and then with the Greens they started “cleaning” Crimean Tatars reducing their ranks by means of mass executions and other repressions. All Crimean Tatars political parties Bolsheviks called bourgeois and broke them up and their members were shot. Rural residents belonging to Crimean Tatars who were always distinguished by their industry, and consequently by their prosperity were proclaimed kulaks and subjected to repressions including the exile from Crimea to Russian concentration camps where they all died. Those who escaped exile were periodically executed under orders. Even the new Crimean Tatar communists were always treated by Russian Bolsheviks with distrust. The first leader of Crimean Tatar communists Veli Ibraimov was executed under the personal order of Stalin in 1928 for “over-stressing of national interests to the prejudice of the class ones”, as it was said in the sentence.
The great hunger that was organized by the Bolsheviks in Ukraine and Povolzh’e also touched Crimean Tatars and took more that 60 thousands Crimean Tatars’ lives.
In fact, Stalin decided that Crimean Tatars, who organically didn’t take authoritarianism and infringement of their freedoms, mustn’t exist in that communist totalitarian regime which he started creating according to his will. He required obedient autocrats in order to build the pyramid of power where he will be on top. Russian serfs were suited to this role better than others and for that he loved them very much. He loved them right for their subservient obedience. The Bolsheviks ousted those Russians who cherished these slaves for centuries during the civil war as their competitors, and finally restored the slave-villeinage regime and the order that dominated before Alexander the Second’s reforms. Thus, everything resumed its normal course. However, now it was called a little bit different – in pseudoscientific and obscure way. The dictator finished quickly with the opposition and with enlightened opponents of authoritarian regime in general with the help of United State Political Directorate (OGPU) - People's Commissariat Internal Affairs (NKVD) – KGB that shot tens and hundreds of thousands people without pity and hesitation. You see, security officers were recruited among the same obedient slaves who didn’t wish to think independently, but were fast for savage reprisal. Any slave has an authoritarian nature. He likes obeying and rule, holding sacred table of ranks…
Imposing the authoritarian regime in the country, Stalin started with repressions against separate individuals and very quickly turned to repressions on class basis, executing already not the separate individuals, but the whole classes. The communist on the local levels received orders from the top to execute a certain number of residents under the pretext of fighting against counter-revolution, and in general extermination of enemies. This Kremlin’s guideline was strictly executed on-the-spot. Extermination of people that had democratic, in other words not authoritarian mindset became mass phenomenon and turned into the communist party’s policy. As far as the idea of repressing not only the unwanted individuals, but the whole peoples, this idea came to paranoiac Stalin before World War Two. The war just played into the communist Bolsheviks’ hands and quickened implementation of their evil plans. Crimean Tatars hold the special position among thirteen peoples listed in the secret records.
Already in May 1941, that is before the unexpected for USSR war against Nazi Germany, the Bolsheviks started exiling Crimean Tatars from Belorussia and Lithuania to the East, to Kazakhstan in accordance with the secret agreement reached between Stalin and Hitler on division of Europe between two authoritarian regimes - Nazi Germany and Bolshevik Soviet Union. Under this agreement the USSR’s western boundaries after the beginning of the World War Two on September 1, 1939 were moved westwards with the conquest of Baltic states and later their transference under the control of Bolsheviks, division of Poland between two aggressors and conquest of Finland and western Ukrainian territories. That is why all "unwanted elements" should be exiled in a free and easy manner from the territory where the secret military campaign began. Very Crimean Tatars turned out to be the unwanted elements. However, when the unplanned war against the military “ally” began, in 1941 the authorities formed the military unit that numbered 2500 people. It was made up exclusively of Crimean Tatars. It was sent from the Caucasus where it was formed to far North-West to the most deadly sectors of the front and where it was almost entirely exterminated. It was all made intently having for an object – termination of unwanted people.
Later on, already in 1942 The State Defense Committee (GOKO) issued the Decision 1828 of May 29, 1942 which said (quotation): “In addition to persons admitted as socially dangerous, also persons belonging to German and Romanian nationality, as well as Crimean Tatars and foreigners are subject to administrative deportation” (and of quotation).
Pay attention: Crimean Tatars appeared alongside with foreigners and Germans – Romanians the Soviet Union fought against. You know, here it came about the residents of Krasnodar Territory and Rostov region which wasn’t occupied by Nazi troops yet. By the way, the Decision was signed personally by Stalin.
Thus, the question of exile of Crimean Tatars was predetermined long before the war. Naturally, it didn’t depend on behavior of Crimean Tatars during the war. Even if the war didn’t begin Crimean Tatars were exiled from Crimea anyway. Cannibal – Bolsheviks didn’t require much effort to invent a reason for repressions. The war just helped them in this. Calling the entire people the traitors – not a single reasonable person could think out that. However, one should be complete idiot in order to believe in this delirious absurdity that the whole people all without exception are traitors of Lenin-Stalin’s work. Though, they believed in this! They still repeat this absurdity like parrots. They do not understand what brainless fools look those who is saying this. However, such people live in Russia. Not in vain it is said that Russia is the country of fools. It justifies this definition in full. The slave’s mentality assumes not to doubt the master's words and not to think about any order he gives. In this respect the genetic and hereditary slave is an ideal substance for building of an authoritarian regime. “Stalin thinks instead of us!” – there was such popular slogan at his time. It was dangerous to think independently at those times. One could think only within the permitted frameworks. A good slave is the one who believes in his master. And he doesn’t doubt his single word. Georgian – Stalin found in Russian Slav what he had dreamed for already in theological seminary. All his life Stalin, being at the head of Communist – Bolsheviks gang created the obedient and not thinking, so called Soviet people, in short – “Sovok” with insistence of a maniac using methods of selective shooting and repressive extermination.
By the way idiocy of communist – Stalinists during his rule reached such limits that there were even scientific-research works in Soviet Union on development of special genetic type of people - homo sovetikus – Soviet man. With this goal in 1926 the institute was even established by the famous Bolshevik – Bogdanov that worked on development of such kind of man. Today this institution in Moscow called Institute of Blood Transfusion. The idea of criminal theory was that the blood being the carrier of genetic heredity when transfused to another person could also change his genetic orientation. Just one another idiocy of the communist regime!
However, finally it was decided not to turn Crimean Tatars into Sovoks this way. Their fate was predetermined by Stalinists another way: to drive the entire people into a concentration camp where under the barbwire reduce it to nothing young and old. In other words the final goal of this communist – Stalinists’ cannibalistic action was to exterminate Crimean Tatar people as unwanted genetic type. The USSR communists considered it unprofitable just execute the whole people as it did fascist with Jews and Gipsies. Why? People could die out themselves provided that they were created the due conditions. In fact, these conditions were started creating back before the beginning of so called Patriotic War.
For justice sake one should mention that Crimean Tatars turned out to be not a single people which were chose to be exterminated in order to justify the criminal policy of Kremlin’s rulers. Proclaiming the whole people the traitors of motherland the Communist – Bolsheviks fastened on them all failures of their antihuman ideology under which in peace time not even tens thousands but millions of people were executed, and they represented the most gifted part of the society. All this was made in sake of triumph of authoritarian system which was doomed to gradual oblivion by the very evolutionary history of development of human society. Stalin by means of his antihuman policy supported by the criminal ideology revived the herd thinking of human society returning it back to archaic times of the early past. What else could invent illiterate and poor leaders of the former vast empire who came out from the darkest depth of human society? They partly ousted and partly murdered the educated and intellectual top of the society both in bloody civil war and in particular in the process of "purges" during the following years. By a chance they obtained power and instinctively went back by a dead-end way of development that started stalling long before the beginning of the World War Two. However, instead of the gradual reforms the Bolsheviks with the persistence of a maniac started accusing so called external and internal enemies in their failures in economics and state development, executing everyone who objected this criminal theory.
Thus, not only millions of people, but already the entire peoples were turned into so called traitors of motherland who must be executed for sake of triumph of communism.
Luckily, the paranoiac (according to professor Bekhterev’s apt diagnosis) died before he could implement his blasphemous plan. However, the generation of Stalinists trained by him, the aggressively obedient misanthropes still exist. We could make sure of this in the first part of this film and will see them again in its third part.
All repressions against defenseless people were made by the hands of this generation of human bastards.
The communist Khrushchev having condemned so called Stalin’s voluntarism (but only after his death) and even returned all repressed peoples back to their historical motherland, nevertheless “forgot” about Crimean Tatars, leaving them in Central Asia. In 1954 he took Crimea from Russians and gave it to Ukrainians. However, when Crimean Tatar people demanded justice and permission to return to their historical motherland they were invented the new motherland in form of Mubarek Republic in Central Asia after the example of Republic of Birobidzhan for Jews. Khrushchev criticizing Stalin for his voluntarism didn’t go far from him. This uneducated swineherd regarded Crimean Tatars as wild Asian tribe which could be treated regardless its history. A purely Bolshevik’s pattern.
Today there are hardly remained any alive executors of that blasphemous action, in the result of which all Crimean Tatars were forcibly exiled from Crimea within 24 hours and sent to suspense for death.
The operation on destruction of Crimean Tatar people which was prepared secretly began without any notification on night before the sunrise on May 18, 1944. NKVD officials armed with machine guns burst into Crimean Tatars’ houses, and giving them just few minutes for gathering, drove people who were absolutely unaware of what was going on to the points of general gathering like to execution. You know, these people were exclusively women, children, old men and cripple and sick men, because all adult population was fighting on war, when the grown-up young men were recruited to labor army to lumbering in Siberia where the conditions of life didn’t differ from Gulag’s ones. The people were loaded into the tracks and taken to railroad vans for cattle. After loading people to the vans to the brim the vans were locked and sent from Crimea to the East: Central Asia, Ural, and Siberia. In general 238 thousands Crimean Tatars were deported within 24 hours. There are numerous documental evidences of eyewitnesses who remained alive. However, not all stood the inhuman methods of deportation. Tens, hundreds and even thousands people died on the way and in deportation of cold, hunger and administration’s cruel attitude to the repressed people. More than one hundred thousand people died during the first year of exile. 70 % of all human loses were children.
Here is a man who happened to live through all ordeals of hell and remained alive by a miracle. In 1944 he was 14. He engraved in his child’s memory all details of that horrible purposeful operation on extermination of a particular people. Moreover, he didn’t only remember every day but even every hour of being in cattle van to a minute detail and then the existence between life and death in terrible exile. He could tell people about everything what he saw and experienced and wrote documentary story about these years. Now Edem Orazly - Crimean Tatar of Greek origin is about 80. But injustice that he suffered along with his people can’t let him die in peace. And he won’t set his mind at rest before he wouldn’t describe everything he experienced having been accused in high treason and treachery. With that very stigma he lived all his life. When monsters of cruelty who humiliated him passed away, living in clover up to their last days in Crimea. Their offspring and descendants still make plans of extermination of the returned to its motherland indigenous people. Who are these subhuman, who Crimean Tatars are an eyesore to? They are Stalinist-communists who for the time being escaped the international tribunal. Today they call themselves simple Russians, covering by Russian people and trying dissolving in it.
It is not difficult for them to use Russian people as a cover: you see, they speak Russian and boast for their Russian origin. Though, from time immemorial Russians had two formations – two classes that dramatically differed from each other. They are masters and Russian slaves. Citing Lermontov, “unwashed Russia” always was “land of slaves, land of lords”. However, after the October revolt of 1917 Russian slaves ousted their lords from the country and created the state of slaves. These very genetic slaves created authoritative-totalitarian state, where the top were illiterate rulers who could only govern the herd of the same brainless and resigned mobs, but in no way the intellectual society. That is why for effective government the communists invent nothing better than spreading authoritarianism, destroying the intellectual – progressive part of population that had the democratic way of thinking. However, thus they reached a deadlock. The regime fell even without the external influence. But, the community of Sovok – Stalinists remained. And it is still represents an overwhelming majority.
Today Crimean Tatars number around 250 thousand people. This is 12% of the whole Crimean population. So called Russians represent almost 70%. They are descendants of serf-Stalinists who absorbed hatred towards Crimean Tatars with their mother’s milk. Genetic serfs do not take the democratic orders established in Ukrainian state, because they are alien to their authoritarian nature. The saying “What is bred in the bone will not go out of the flesh” is true for an autocrat as well as for a hunchbacked. Consequently, Russians will continue the genocide against Crimean Tatars in Crimea. However, it will change its forms. But, nothing in this world lasts forever.
